| This wine originates from a single vineyard located in the lower slopes of Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, in the south coast of Madeira Island. I harvested half of the grapes a week before they reached full maturation, thus obtaining higher acidity levels. This characteristic was reinforced by the use of continuous press in the winemaking process. In March 2009, I started the aging process of this wine by the traditional Canteiro method, under moderate temperatures, in old French oak casks. In March 2019, 2.986 bottles have been filled, all individually numbered. Light golden colour. Aroma of crystallized fruits, yellow fruit jam, dried flower, ripe citrus and pistachio. Delicate honeyed palate, nice balanced acidity, finish long and fresh. |
