Tenuta San Giorgio - Rosso di Montalcino "Ciampoleto" DOCG 2020

Tenuta San Giorgio in Montalcino (Siena) close by Castelnuovo dell'Abate and the Cistercian abbey of Sant' Antimo. The grapes grow at an average altitude of 350-450m above sea level on south west facing terrains. The soil is composed of clay loam sediments originating from a prehistoric salt lake-basin and is rich in calcium.

TASTING NOTES

Color: Ruby red colour with an amber rim.

Aroma: This wine brings together sensations of tilled earth, oak extract, coffee, overripe black plum and vanilla.                                                                                   

Palate: Medium/full body low acidity and softer tannins, candied cherry with dark, mild spices and a touch of eucalyptus.
